About Gurdypedia

After enjoying the traditional English and European dance music of Blowzabella for many years, I finally succumbed to the temptation of learning to play the hurdy-gurdy myself. I own an electro-acoustic hurdy-gurdy from Denis Siorat in France, and previously owned a Symphonie from Chris Allen in the UK and rented a Gotschy Phoenix. I am taking lessons from René Meeuws in Nijmegen.

This blog simply collects some of the wonderful information and resources on the hurdy-gurdy that I have stumbled across on the Internet.
